Overall Review: Most consumer video editing software is terrible. Overall a killer package for a killer price.Ĭons: A little steeper learning curve than most of the other packages but it comes with good tutorials on the help menu. This version comes with Audio Studio (my kids use that to make ring tones!). Editing options and tools are powerful and fairly easy to learn.
Been using this program for over 2 years and have never lost a project or seen the blue screen of death. Pros: Does everything you would ever need and does it with rock solid stability.

Granted, I tried demos of the competing video editors before deciding on Vegas, and found this to be the most full featured, easiest to use, and, oddly enough, one of the cheapest editors on the market considering the amount of extra content is included with the already solid NLE.
